David Swisher Obituary

David H. Swisher, 85, of East Liverpool, passed away at Weirton Medical Center on Tuesday, November 7, 2023.

Born April 5, 1938, in East Liverpool, he was the son of the late Carl and Dolly Sayre Swisher.

David was a graduate of Chester High School in 1956. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and retired as a welder.

David will be deeply missed by his son, Marty Swisher, and daughter, Carrie Swisher, both of California. He will also be missed by his brothers, Ed Swisher (Loretta) of Newell, and Joseph Swisher of Indiana; sister, Pat Swisher of Chester and 5 grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his wife, Ella Swisher, and sister, Lucille Beatty.

He is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel. Private inurnment will be held at Columbiana County Memorial Park.
