David Michael

David J. Michael, 67, of Negley, passed away with his family by his side, Monday, May 4, 2020, at his home.  Born, June 12, 1952, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Max and Thelma Elaine Oldfield Michael.

He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Calvin, Daniel, and Eugene Michael and sisters, Kaylynn Michael and Patricia Severs.  David worked as a Press Operator at Metropolitan Environmental Services, as well as a castor at Homer Laughlin, and worked for several years for his father in law, building aquariums.  He was a faithful Cleveland Browns fan and member of the Moose Lodge #122. 

David enjoyed riding his motorcycle, spending time with his friends and family, and playing pool.  Along with his many nieces and nephews, he will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 40 years, Kimberly Watson Michael; daughters, Ashlee Sherwood and her husband Brian of Canfield, OH. and Madison Michael of Negley, OH.; brothers, George Michael of Rochester; James and his wife Anna of East Liverpool; sisters, Penny Moore of Brunswick, GA. and Dixie Martz of Lisbon; sister-in-laws, Grace Michael of Georgetown and Pat Michael of Irondale. 

Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, from 11:00AM-1:00 PM. Services will follow in procession at Calcutta Cemetery.
