Daniel Durbin Obituary

 Daniel D. Durbin, 69, of East Liverpool, passed, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital in Pittsburgh, following a lengthy illness.

Born, on May 22, 1953, in Newell, he was the son of the late Clarence Durbin and Annalee Stover Swogger.

Dan was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna Faulk, and stepbrother, Norman Durbin.

He attended East Liverpool High School and later received HVAC certification from New Castle School of Trade. Dan retired from numerous years as a carpenter.

He enjoyed shooting pool and was a member of the American Pool Players Association. Dan was an avid Cleveland Indians fan and loved spending time with his dog, Buddy.

He will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Marsha “Raeann” Waxler Durbin, whom he married on September 22, 1973. Dan will also be missed by his sons, David Durbin and his fiancé, Amanda Ferrebee of East Liverpool and Brian Durbin and his wife, Amy of Center Township, PA.; brothers, William Durbin and his wife, Tammy of Hammondsville and Tom Durbin of Calcutta; grandchildren, Ashley Durbin, Brooke Durbin, Danielle Durbin, Cheyanne Ferrebee, and Izabella Waxler; 10 great-grandchildren and special nephew, Howie “JR’ Waxler and his wife, Jennifer.

Pastor Gary Lemaster’s will celebrate Dan’s life, Monday, March 13, 2023, at Arner Funeral Chapel, at 4:30 PM. Friends may visit the funeral home before the service from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM.
