Clifford Charles (JR) Shenton, 86 of Chester, passed away peacefully at home on August 14, 2021.
Born on September 19, 1934, son of the late Clifford W. and Iantha Shenton.
JR was a graduate of Chester High School, class of 1954. He proudly served his country in the Army as a Sargent from 1955 through 1959.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years Judy, his brother Jim Shenton, and his nephew Jimmy Shenton.
He will be missed by his children Mark Shenton and his wife Jody of Chester. Mike Shenton and his wife Terry of Chester. Grandchildren Lana Irwin and her husband Tom of Canonsburg. Chelsea Shenton and her husband Taylor Chmel of Cleveland. Matthew Shenton and Darby Paull of Hopewell. Michael Shenton and Emily Anderson of Morgantown. Great Grandchildren Cam, Andie, Mack, and Lincoln.
In fulfilling Jr.’s wishes, no services are planned.
