Catherine Barnhart Obituary

Catherine L. Barnhart, 76, of Wellsville, passed, Thursday, July 23, 2020, at Trinity West Hospital in Steubenville.

Born, October 16, 1943, in East Liverpool, she was a daughter of the late Harley W. and Wilda Congo.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale A. Barnhart; sister, Linda Greathouse, and brother, William “Bill” Congo.

Catherine graduated from Wellsville High School in 1961 and Jefferson Technical School, where she received her LPN License. She was formerly employed as a nurse at Blossom Nursing Home in Salem.

Catherine will be missed by her sons, Scott Barnhart, Doug Barnhart and his wife Kathie and John Barnhart, all of Wellsville; daughter, Jennifer Barnhart of Wellsville; sister, Fran Freeman of Wellsville; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Private services were held at the Arner Funeral Chapel.
