She was a graduate of Chester High School Class of 1962. Carole continued her education at the East Liverpool School of Nursing in 1966 becoming a nurse. She later retired from East Liverpool City Hospital where she worked in Pediatrics.

Carole also left behind her second family. Since first grade, she spent the majority of her time with the Nonie and Warden Carpenter family, Keith, Gary, Dave, Linda, and Jeanie.
Carole’s best friend, Linda Carpenter DeShon, has been with her since birth. Linda was born the 22nd of July and Carole on the 24th of July. They spent their first week of life together in the nursery at East Liverpool City Hospital. When they were in 1st grade they were reunited and became friends for life. Her 2nd best friend, Susan Wilson Garner met her in 2nd grade and became friends for life. Her 3rd best friend, Susie Smith Judge, met her while the two of them began their first jobs at the East Liverpool YMCA and became friends for life, and in 1970 Susie became her sister-in-law. Her 4th best friend was Jeanie Carpenter Gargano and her husband Dave.
Anyone who worked with Carole also became a friend for life. There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for a friend. If you were lucky enough to have Carole in your life, then you had a friend for life. She worked the night shift all her life so therefore her mornings did not begin before 1:00 PM.
Carole was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Ohio State football fan. She loved all the cats she shared her home with over the years. Carole was the type of person that was always there for others. Always the first to bring you a gift or food if you were in the hospital or recovering at home.
Carole will be missed by those who really loved her and knew her. Heaven has received a new very special Angel.
Private interment will be held at Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool, her arrangements were entrusted with the Arner Funeral Chapel.
