Carl L. Cox, 68, of East Liverpool, passed, Sunday, July 11, 2021, at Acuity Specialty Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
Born July 10, 1953, in Beaver, he was a son of the late Carl Gilbert and Anna Pearl Searfoss Cox. He was also preceded in death by his companion, Peggy Kent.
Carl worked as a laborer for many years. He enjoyed crafting of all kinds, Carl would spend hours building structures with popsicle sticks, making leather belts, shoes, and keychains. He was a stubborn man but had a gentle soul and would help anyone in need. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and he will be deeply missed by them.
He is survived by his children, Kerry Cox at home, Christina Burson of East Liverpool, Brandy Rhodes, and her husband Jesse of Negley, Tammy Murphy of East Liverpool and Brandon Murphy of PA.; stepdaughter, Tammy Kent; 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. Carl’s arrangements were entrusted with the Arner Funeral Chapel.
