Brian L. Herron, 66, of Georgetown, passed, Friday, April 16, 2021, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, due to an unexpected accident.
Born, May 16, 1954, in Sewickley, PA., he was a son of the late John and Mable Stewart Herron.
Brian was a graduate of South Side High School Class of 1975. He retired from the Operating Engineer Local #66, after 47 years of service and he was the past Greene Township Supervisor.
Brian was a member of the Glasgow Lodge #485 in Shippingport, he was also a member of Valley of New Castle Scottish Rites.
Brian enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, attending their sporting events, hunting, and fishing. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and just recently he found a love for camping and fishing on Lake Erie with his dear friend, Tim Darnley.
Brian will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Terri Mackall Herron, whom he married on March 15, 1974. He will also be missed by his daughter, Francie Payne, and her husband Jamie, Beth McCoy, and her husband Matt all of Georgetown and grandchildren, Sydney and Maxx Payne and Luke and Cole McCoy. He is survived by his loving mother-in-law, Wilda Mackall; sister-in-law, Janni West (Kevin), and their sons, Tyler and Travis; Barbie Rinks (Jeff) and their children, Haley and Matthew.
A celebration of life will be held, Wednesday, April 21, 2021, at Noon, at Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends may visit with his family 1 hour prior to the service, from 11:00 AM-Noon.
