Betty L. Nagy-Lytton of Newell passed away on Wednesday, February 19, 2020, at the Weirton Medical Center following a brief illness.
82 years old, Betty was born on October 26, 1937, in New Cumberland, WV. She was a daughter of the late Ray and Eva Dunlevy Cline.
A loving homemaker, Betty was a member of the Newell First United Methodist Church where she was active in the Newell Methodist Women’s Society. She had attended McDonald Pennsylvania schools and she received an associate degree from the East Liverpool branch of Kent State University.
Preceding her in death were her first husband and the father of her children, Louis E. “Junior” Nagy, her granddaughter, Rylee Headley, seven brothers, and two sisters.
Betty leaves her husband, Gene Lytton at home, two daughters, Robyn Huffman and her husband Rich of Chester, and Jodi Headley and her husband Larry of Chester; three sons, Louis R. Nagy and his wife Tracie of Chester, Richard Nagy of Newell, and Jeffrey Nagy and his wife Elizabeth of Morgantown, WV. Also, she is survived by her sister, Nancy De Rossa and her husband Larry of New Cumberland; her brothers, John Cline of Morgantown, WV., and Dan Barton and his wife Betty of Calcutta; sixteen grandchildren, and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Betty’s pastor Kara Rowe will celebrate her life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, February 22, at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at the New Cumberland Cemetery. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
