Austin Adams Obituary

Austin James Adams, 25, passed unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

He was born March 7th, 1998, in East Liverpool, Ohio. The son of Jim Adams Jr. and Cristal Pickens.

Austin graduated from Beaver Local High Schoo Class of 2016. He was a member of the Beaver Local Wrestling team. Following graduation, Austin worked alongside his Pap, Jim Adams, and his father Jim Adams Jr.

Austin James was a bright light that went dim way too soon. Austin was a smart and funny young man who had a way of making everyone around him feel at ease. He had a natural talent for making people laugh. He was a wonderful human being and loved by so many. Though we will never fully understand the struggles he faced, we take solace in knowing that Austin is at peace. His passing is a reminder of how precious life is and that we never know someone's own story. We will never forget Austin's quick wit and infectious smile... the way the room lit up when he entered. We love you Austin, Our sweet boy.

The reality is, we will grieve forever. We will not get over this loss, instead, we will learn to live with it. We will heal and rebuild ourselves around the loss we have suffered. Our family asks that you hug your loved ones today. Reach out to those you are thinking of. Hug them, kiss them, pray for them. Austin loved hugs...he loved us all.

Austin is preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Donald and Catherine Pickens, and paternal grandfather Kenneth Anderson.

Austin will be missed by his parents, Jim Adams Jr. (Stefanie Flagg) of East Liverpool and Cristal Pickens Cronin (Randy) of Hammondsville; brothers, Jimmy Adams of North Carolina, Scott Lang of Lisbon, and Chad Lang Jr. of Hammondsville; paternal grandparents James Adams (Karen) of East Liverpool, Vickie Adams of Rogers. He will also be missed by numerous cousins and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Austin is in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel
