Amanda “Mandy” McHenry, 41, devoted, wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, of East Liverpool, passed away unexpectedly due to natural causes, Friday, February 7, 2020, at East Liverpool City Hospital.
Born, September 17, 1978, in Rochester, PA., she was a daughter of Mike and Linda Balser Lynam of Altoona, PA.
Mandy attended South Side High School and she was a graduate of Ohio Valley Community College, where she received her degrees in Medical Assisting, EKG, Phlebotomy, and Nursing. She was employed for Don’s Services in New Castle, PA., where she worked as a personal caregiver. Mandy also taught at OVCT for 5 years and impacted many of her students.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Christopher McHenry, whom she married November 14, 1997; sons, Ryan McHenry of East Liverpool, Caleb McHenry and his wife Kimberly of East Liverpool’ brother, Nathaniel Lynam of Altoona, PA. and niece, Lynnden Zorger and nephew, Malakai Lynam.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Brittany Lynam.
Pastor Kim Gadd will celebrate Mandy’s life, Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at 7:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends may visit with her family 2 hours prior to the service from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM.
