Violet McGaughey Obituary
Violet C. McGaughey, 91, passed away peacefully with her family by her side, Saturday, April 13, 2019, at the Stone Pear Pavilion in Chester.
Born, July 27, 1927, in Pittsburgh, PA., she was a daughter of the late Casper and Catherine Starsnic.
She was also preceded in death by her son, Rick Neiman.
Violet retired as a Registered Nurse, she retired from the Allegheny Health Department after 10 years.
Violet is survived by her daughters, Beth Vaughan and her husband Raymond of New Cumberland, Maureen Caputo of Steubenville and Sharon Perkowski of Glen Carbon, IL. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Katelyn (Jake) McElhaney, Adam Vaughan, Billy Caputo, Joseph Perkowski Jr., Kristin Spohr, Sarah Roberts, and Jessica Hansen, along with three great-grandsons, Samuel, Jack, and Shawn.
It was Violet’s wishes that no calling hours or services be held. The Arner Funeral Chapel was entrusted with handling her arrangements.
