Thomas Peter Balt, 75, of Phoenix, Arizona passed peacefully on June 15, 2019, at the beautiful Hospice of the Valley Sherman Home in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born on July 23, 1943, in Weirton, West Virginia to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Balt and was a 1961 graduate of Weirton Madonna High School. Employed throughout his life by Weirton Steel, Airco Industrial Gases and Hertz Rental, Tom was an avid lover of bowling and watching his favorite Pittsburgh sports teams. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his sisters Betty Bowback of Buffalo, New York and Joan Cybulski of Wintersville, Ohio. Surviving is his children, son Steven M. Balt, his wife Stephanie Balt and grandchildren Addyson Balt and Jacob Balt of Phoenix, Arizona; and daughter Melissa J. (Balt) Cordell and grandchildren Megan Cordell and Kaitlyn Cordell of Canton, Ohio. Crematory services provided by Regency Mortuary in Phoenix, Arizona arranged by Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, West Virginia.
