Shirley Jean Staggers

Shirley Jean Staggers 60, of East Liverpool passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2018 in the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Born December 15, 1957, in East Liverpool, she is a daughter of the late Carl and Loraine Cronin Staggers.

Shirley attended Oak Glen High School and was a member of the First Christian Church of Chester.  She obtained her certificate as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and spent 25 compassionate years caring for many people at the Orchards at Foxcrest.

 She was a very good mom who loved her grandchildren and passed to her family the love she had for her animals, Bailey and Mia. 

She is survived by her daughter Melissa Alexander and her husband Bill of Chester and grandchildren Brooke and Austin Alexander also of Chester.

Friends may visit with Shirley’s family from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday May 18 at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. The Rev Katrina Lewis will conduct services at the funeral home on Saturday May 19, at 11:00am.
