He is survived by two sons, Philip A. Smith and his wife Susan, and Russell E. “Rusty” Smith and his wife Janice, both of Chester; seven grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, whom he loved and adored.

Pastor Kara Rowe will preside for funeral services at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Tuesday, May 29 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Locust Hill Cemetery where a Masonic Burial Ritual will be accorded.
