Robert M. Rizor

Robert M. Rizor, 81, a lifetime resident of Chester, passed away unexpectedly, Sunday, February 25, 2019, in the Emergency Department at the Salem Regional Medical Center.

Born, February 1, 1938, in Chester, he was a son of the late Ivan and Alberta Behrman Rizor.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Connie Fryman Rizor; brothers, Lester and Bud Rizor and by his sisters, Irma Boggs, and Martha Reed.

Robert was graduate of Chester High School and retired from LTV Steel in Aliquippa, where he worked as a machinist.

He enjoyed golfing and bowling.

Robert will be missed by his son, Steve Rizor and his wife Kathy of Chester; brother, Richard, Rizor of Coco Beach, FL.; sister, Neidra Buzzard of Youngstown, OH. and grandchildren, April Haught and Amber Rizor. He will also be missed by his great-grandchildren, Jonathon Headley, Jillian, and Josalyn Haught and Allison Harless.

We will celebrate Robert’s life, Thursday, February 28, 2019, at 11:00 AM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Interment will follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester. Friends may visit with the family, Wednesday, February 27, 2019, from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM.
