Phyllis J. Nelson

Phyllis J. Nelson, 85, of East Liverpool, is finally at peace after suffering from Lewy Body dementia for several years.  She passed away on Friday, August 24, 2018, at home, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

 Born May 25, 1933, in Paden City, WV, she was the daughter of the late Perry Fulmer and Lucille (Tenley) Fulmer Dean. 

She was a former nurse aid/caregiver at East Liverpool City Hospital, and Calcutta Healthcare, and completed her career in private duty care before retiring.

  She was proceeded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Nelson, two sisters, Lora Lee (Ron) Rummell of East Liverpool, OH, Pauline Myers Grindle, Lisbon, OH, and two brothers, Gene Fulmer, Paden City, WV, and infant brother, Perry Fulmer, Jr.

 Surviving are two daughters, Teresa Carr, East Liverpool, OH, and Kathleen (Gary) Tellish, North Myrtle Beach, SC, three sons, Roger Nelson, New Alexandria, PA and David (Sarah) Nelson, Newell, WV, Shawn (Bobbi Jo) Nelson, East Liverpool, OH; grandchildren, Shawn (Angie) Carr, Lisbon, OH, Jeremy Carr, Salem, OH, Robert Carr, Robinson Township, PA., Jason (Erin) Timmons, Helena, AL, Erica Timmons, Clinton, PA,  Corey (Nicole) Tellish, Hookstown, PA, Michael (Kat) Tellish, Williamsburg, VA, Jessica (Justin) Garrett, Carmel, IN, Melissa Nelson, New Cumberland, WV,; great-grandchildren, Hannah Timmons, Kaylee, Aaron, Gracie Nelson, Rylie, Annabella, Sage, Zoey Tellish, Quintin and Hayleigh Carr, and Henry Raich, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from noon-2:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Sunday, August 26, 2018, at Arner Funeral Chapel, 607 Carolina Avenue, Chester, WV.  Service will be held at ­­­­­ the funeral home, Monday, August 27. 2018, at 11:00 AM.
