Pauline M. LaScola, 83, of Wellsville passed peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 28, 2017, following a brief illness.

Born in Wellsville on May 20, 1934, she was a daughter of the late Paul and Marie Beebout Hartford.

Pauline was a homemaker and a member of the former Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wellsville. Also, she was a graduate of Wellsville High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death one son, Joseph Paul LaScola, and one sister, Susan LeMaster and her husband Joe.

Her husband of almost 64 years, Joseph LaScola, survives at home. They were married on December 29, 1953. She also leaves four children, Ann Marie (Mike) Phillips, Mary (Rick) Frazier, John LaScola, and Donte LaScola, all of Wellsville; two sisters, Charlene (Gerald) Sargent of Wellsville, and Evelyn (Bob) Dornick of Salem; one brother, Earl (Barbara) Hartford of Leavittsburg, OH.; and four grandchildren.

Father Jeeson Stephan will preside over private Catholic Rites at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. She will be laid to rest at St. Elizabeth Cemetery in Wellsville.
