Patrick R. Wilson, 73, of Chester, passed away peacefully, Friday, December 13, 2019.
Born, September 21, 1946, in Fredrick, MD, he was a son of the late George B. and Dorothy Wilson.
Pat worked at Airco Welding and served as the President of the Local Union there until it’s closure. He recently retired after 31 years of service from Mountaineer Racetrack where he was a camera operator.
He loved spending time with his family and enjoyed listening to music. Pat was an avid Patriot football fan.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 46 years, Deborah Porter Wilson; son, Shea Wilson of Chester, daughter, Angie Wilson Smith and her husband Joe Smith of Chester, granddaughters, Kaitlyn Smith Rhodes and her husband Brandon of Chester and Lindsey Smith of Chester; brothers, Bob Wilson of Kansas City; sisters, Betty Coddington and Patsy Wilson both of Hagerstown, MD.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Bud, Ruth, Jackie, Gene, Charlie, Maureen, Frank and John Wilson.
Pastor Jeremy Alger will celebrate Pat’s life, Wednesday, December 18, 2019, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel at New Cumberland Cemetery. The Arner Funeral Chapel was entrusted with his arrangements.
