Nina Plummer, 76 of East Liverpool passed away at the Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Cleveland on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, following a brief illness.
A daughter of the late Chester Boswell and Violet Boswell Brewer, Nina was born in Chester on May 22, 1943.
Nina was well known as a friendly and bright personality at the Glenmoor Superette. She had attended Chester city schools. Nina enjoyed spending time with her family; her children and grandchildren were her everything. She suffered the loss of her husband, Clifford A. Plummer on July 1, 2018. Also, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Chester and John Boswell.
Deeply moved by the loss are her children and grandchildren, daughters, Vickie (Bruce) Owens, and Judy Mouse of East Liverpool; her grandchildren, Jonathan (Amanda) Owens, Breann (Hunter) Thompson, and David and Sara Mouse; and her great-grandchildren, Connor Owens, and Weston Thompson. Nina came from a very large family and several siblings still survive, Christopher Boswell of Columbiana, Elaine Weinert of Florida, Dorothy Ingold of Ravenna, Elsie Ingram, Connie Wallace, Nancy Kirbaugh, and Sharon (Tom) Bryarley, of East Liverpool.
Pastor Tom Adkins of the Campground Community Church will celebrate Nina’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, June 3, at 1:00 p.m. Following, she will be laid to rest along with her husband at the Riverview Cemetery in East Liverpool. Following burial friends and family will gather at the Campground Community Church for a continued time of remembrance with food and fellowship.
