Nedra H. Delong

Nedra H. Delong, 92 of Sixth St. in Newell passed away at the Orchards of East Liverpool on July 19, 2019, following an extended illness.

Born in Niles, OH., on June 2, 1927, she was a daughter of the late Clifford Reddick and Ellen McDaniel.

Nedra last worked as a waitress in the Man of War restaurant at the former Waterford Park Racetrack.

Survivors include her children, Ellen (John) Bowen, Renee (Rex) Milner, and Donald G. Delong III; one brother, Mark Reddick; and several grand and great-grandchildren.

Her life will be celebrated with a memorial service at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at 4:00 p.m. Rev. Kara Rowe will officiate. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday one hour prior to the service, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Newell United Methodist Church @ 319 Grant St., Newell, WV. 26050.
