Marlin Talbott Obituary

Marlin J. “Mart” Talbott, 83, of East Liverpool, went home to be with the Lord, Thursday, October 24, 2019, at the East Liverpool City Hospital following an extended illness.

Born, April 19, 1936, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Ervin J. and Mable M. Snyder Talbott.

Mart retired from the United States Navy. After retiring from the Navy, he was employed by the East Liverpool Water Department for 10 years and he was a member of a Masonic Lodge in Texas.

Mart will be deeply missed by the love of his life, Paula Thomas Talbott, whom he married in 1983. He will also be missed by his children, Jeffrey Beadnell and his wife Ang of Salineville, OH., Brenda Bosco and her husband Ralph of Newell, WV., Ruby Gearing and her husband Greg of Arlington, TX., Vicky Kolkowski of East Liverpool and Julie McLaughlin and her husband Ray of Chester; brothers, Ron Talbott and his wife JoAnn, Ray Talbott and his wife Carol, and Jerry Talbott and his wife Linda; sisters, Mary Miller and her husband Harold of Rogers, OH. and Judy Collins of Salineville. He will also be missed by his grandchildren, Brooke Mouton, Jon McLaughlin, Brandon Fender, Dustin Beadnell, Orion and Elizabeth Kolkoswki and Bailee Beadnell; many step-grandchildren and one great-grandchild, Colton.

Mart was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy Wayne Talbott; by his sister, Peggy Eckstein and by his brother-in-law, Alvie Collins.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Cancer Society or Community Hospice.

Pastor Bob Gadd will celebrate Mart's life, Monday, November 11, 2019, at 4:30 PM, at the Calcutta Cemetery, 16123 St Clair Ave, Calcutta, OH 43920. Military honors will be provided by the Tri-State Burial Group. A continued time with food and fellowship will be held at the House of Prayer directly after the services.
