Kenneth P. “Kenny” Burt Jr., of East Liverpool, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017, following a long battle with cancer.

Kenny was 66 years old and he was born in Cleveland Ohio on July 5, 1951. He was a son of the late Kenneth P. Burt Sr. and Nellie Shroades Burt.

For several years, he was employed with the East Liverpool Incinerator Department, before retiring in 2014.

Kenney was a 1969 graduate of Beaver Local High School, and a longtime member of the East Liverpool Moose Lodge. He was formerly a member of the Lacroft Volunteer Fire Dept.

Deeply saddened by his loss are his wife, Roberta Withers Burt who he married on October 15, 1973; his children, Kenneth P. Burt III, Shannon (Raymond) Pyles, Anthony Burt, Whitney Burt, Vincent Burt, Caitlyn Burt, and Stephen Burt; one sister, Becky (Phillip) Maxwell; and four grandchildren, Sadie Burt, Anthony Burt Jr., Oatis Kouhns, and Zander Pyles.

Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Monday, July 10, from 5-7 p.m. His nephew, John Williams will celebrate Kenney’s life following the visitation, at 7:00 p.m.
