Kenneth Jay Allison, 82, of New Manchester, passed away Sunday, September 30, 2018, at Valley
Hospice Care Center North in Steubenville, surrounded by family.
Born in New Manchester, WV., on October 29th, 1935, he was a son of the late Kenneth and Ruth (Moore) Allison.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Thayer and Norman, and daughter-in-law, Tara Allison.
Kenneth proudly served in the US Army and was retired from the Tin Mill at Weirton Steel. Kenneth dearly loved his farm that was recently recognized by the West Virginia Conservation Agency as a Century Farm.
Surviving is his high school sweetheart, and wife, Mildred F. Allison, three children, Kenneth James Allison, Sherri (Ray) Stoker, Scott (Pandie) Allison; six grandchildren, Joshua Allison, Megan (Ken) Walker, Kristin (Mike) Stutler, Ryan (Katlyn) Stoker, Casey (Tim) Chaffin, Taylor Allison; and five great-grandchildren, Sydney, Gracee, Savannah, Tanner, and Barrett.
A private service will be held for the family. Memorial donations in memory of Kenneth can be made to Valley Hospice,10686 State Route 150, Rayland, OH. 43943. His arrangements are in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
