Judith Lynn Stackhouse, 75 of Chester passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, March 23, 2018.
A lifelong resident of Chester, Judy was born in East Liverpool on April 9, 1942, to the late Eugene and Martha Allison Stackhouse.
She retired as assistant vice president from the Sky Bank branch in Chester, where she had worked since it was the First National Bank of Chester. Earlier, Judy had worked at the National Church Supply Company for several years. She was a member of the Chester First United Methodist Church and a 1960 graduate of the former Chester High School.
Judy is survived by two sisters, Marjorie Allison of Sarasota, FL., and Shirley Snowden of San Carlos, CA. Since Judy was never married, she thought of her nieces and nephews as her own children. They are Jack Allison of Queen Creek, AZ., Jeannie Snowden of Alleins, France, Vickie Snowden of San Carlos, CA., Tim Allison of Conshohocken, PA., and Frank Snowden of Carmel, CA. Several great-nieces and nephews, and cousins also survive.
Her pastor, Rev. Kara Rowe will celebrate Judy’s life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Donations may be made to the Chester First United Methodist Church.
