Jonathan C. Patterson, 37, of Chester, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2017, at East Liverpool City Hospital, after following a lengthy illness.

Born, August 13, 1980, in Wheeling, he was the son of Philip E. Patterson of Wellsburg, WV. and the late Rita Byers Patterson.

Jonathan was a graduate of Brooke High School and he formerly worked at Mountaineer in housekeeping.

He enjoyed attending car shows.

Jonathan leaves behind his wife, Anna Sprouse Patterson of Chester; daughter, Nica Swiger of New Manchester and stepdaughters, Michelle, Americus and Ivana Virden of Chester.

Pastors Robert and Pamela Kidd will celebrate Jonathan’s life on Sunday, October 22, 2017, at 4:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.  Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home two hours prior to the service, from 2-4:00 PM.
