Harry “Joe” Manley Jr., 68, of Chester, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, August 10, 2018, at the East Liverpool City Hospital. Born, December 31, 1949, in Steubenville, he is a son of the late Harry J. Sr. and Mary Hudson Manley.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Dorothy Lyons.
Joe attended New Cumberland High School and he was a proud United States Vietnam Veteran.
Joe worked for B. Parr Construction for 14 years. He enjoyed working with his best friend, Bennie Parr and will be deeply missed by him.
He is survived at home by his companion of 35 years, Mary Lawrence; son, Harry "Joey" Manley III of Columbus; daughters, Chrissy Mullens of Michigan, Brandy Price of Columbus and Jessica Manley of Columbus; brother, Charles “Bob” Manley of Weirton; sisters, Pat Boston of Weirton and Jane Cooper of Weirton; he will also be missed by his 7 grandchildren and large extended family.
Chad Kendall will celebrate Joe’s life Thursday, August 16, 2018, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, at 6:00 PM. Friends may visit with the family 2 hours prior to the services from 4:00 PM- 6:00 PM. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the Chester Municipal Building Multi-Purpose Room immediately following services.
