Georie Sue Rose Westlake

Georie Sue Rose Westlake, 24, of New Cumberland had been battling the demons of addiction. She lost her fight on Thursday, January 24, 2019.

Georie came from a very close-knit family, those whose lives have been changed forever is her mom, Julie Meredith Cooper and her husband Jeremy; her dad, Scott Farley; her soulmate, David Wright; her grandmother, Debbie Belisle; her grandfather, Roger Meredith; her great-grandmother, Geneva Meredith; her siblings, Kaysha Knox, Zaeda Westlake, Tyler Fullmer, Collin Cooper, and Stephen Cooper; and a special niece, Gracie Dawn Rose.

She was born on August 14, 1994, in Weirton and called this area home all her life. Georie had a warm and compassionate soul, which fit in well with her job as a certified nurse’s aide, “she loved taking care of all of her old people”. She was a graduate of Oak Glen High School.

Friends are invited to join Georie’s family as they celebrate her life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Thursday, January 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Pastor Mike Direnzo will conduct a memorial service following the memorial visitation, at 4:00 p.m.
