Frank A. Pugh, 81, of East Liverpool, passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the East Liverpool City Hospital, following a lengthy illness.
A son of the late Charles and Novelle Smoot Pugh, Frank was born in East Liverpool on January 16, 1938.
Raised in the Chester Church of the Nazarene, he was currently a member of the Calcutta Church of the Nazarene. Frank graduated from Chester High School in 1955, and he retired from the lab at the Quaker State Oil Refinery in Newell. Also, he was a veteran of the US Army.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Oliver Wayne Pugh.
His loving family includes his children, Kimberley (Mike) Andreas of Rogers, Melissa (Dave) Adams of New Jersey, Michael David Pugh of East Liverpool, and Stephen (Dana) Pugh of Lisbon; and six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. He also leaves his brothers and sisters, Joyce (Junior) Baker of Decatur, IL., Linda Dawson of Wellsville, Carol Wakefield of East Liverpool, Sue (Fred) Conkle of Chester, Alvin Pugh of Chester, and Charles Pugh of Murphysboro, TN.
Franks minister, Pastor Ed Stine will celebrate his life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, August 17, at 5:00 p.m. Friends are invited to visit with the family at the funeral home on Saturday three hours prior to service, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Following cremation, he will be laid to rest at the Locust Hill Cemetery in Chester.
