Edith M. (Connie) Carpenter of Chester, widow of the late Carl Carpenter, passed away at the East Liverpool City Hospital on Sunday, January 28, 2018, following a brief illness.
93 years old, Connie born on July 15, 1924, in Georgetown, KY.
She retired from National Church Supply Company in Chester, and actively attended Lighthouse Baptist Church in Chester.
In addition to her husband, Connie was also preceded in death by her daughter, Melody Gaye.
She is survived by her son, Kim Carpenter and his wife Bobbie of Phoenix, AZ.; two grandchildren, Adam and Carrie Carpenter; and three great-grandchildren, Wyatt, Logan, and Blake Carpenter.
Family and friends are invited to a celebration of life memorial service in the chapel at Locust Hill Cemetery Sunday, February 4, at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester has been entrusted with these services.
