East Liverpool,

Donald William Wright, 72, of East Liverpool, passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, at his home, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born, August 31, 1946, in East Liverpool, he is a son of the late Mary Flowers Wright Call and the late Donald Wright.

Don is a 1965 graduate of East Liverpool High School.

He served in of The United States Coast Guard from 1965-1979. After returning home he was employed at Ohio Edison (First Energy) W.H. Sammis Plant in Stratton, where he retired after 27 years.

He was an avid outdoorsman and a lifetime member of the Tri-State Area Coon Hunters Club.

Don will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 36 years, Cheryl Ann Varner Wright; sons, Joshua Wright of Crofton, MD. and Nicholas Wright of East Liverpool; Aunt, Mrs. Cecil (Alma) McKinnon of East Liverpool and by his extended family and friends.

The Arner Funeral Chapel handled these arrangements.
