Don Lee Pryor, 67, of Chester, passed away, Monday, August 20, 2018.
Born in East Liverpool, August 8, 1951, he is a son of the late Ted and Beatrice Beaumont Pryor.
Don was a 1970 graduate of Oak Glen High School and was a proud member of the United States Army, serving in Germany.
His first job was for Pokey Sayre as a gas station attendant. He also worked for Mackintosh-Hemphill for 9 years.
Don was a “mail escort”, retiring from the Post Office in Chester in 2017.
He loved life, time spent working on his “farm” or on the back of his motorcycle were his joys. He fought hard and long with the battle of his cancer and remained positive to the end.
Don is survived by two children, daughter, Amanda Elm and her husband Fred of Canada, his grandson and little buddy, Jacob. Also, surviving is his sister, Pat Porto and her husband Nick, with whom he was residing; brother, Jim, his nephew Doug (Maureen) of Chester, Niece Delon (Don) Dowlin of Industry, great-nieces, Quinn Pryor and Corrine Dowlin, best buddies, Rick Nally (Tonya) of VA. and Adam Cline of Chester.
He will be missed by his many friends, Aunts, and Cousins.
Visitation will be Friday, August 24, 1-3:00 PM and 5-7:00 PM at the Arner Funeral Chapel.
At his request, there will be no services.
