Delores E. Mays

Delores E. Mays, 77, of East Liverpool, passed away, Monday, October 21, 2019, at the East Liverpool City Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

Born, August 25, 1942, in Reedsville, OH., she was a daughter of the late Herbert Jr. and Alice L. Barber Rood.

Delores was also preceded in death by her husband, James F. Mays Jr.; son, Kevin Mays; brothers, Darrell Rood, LeRoy Rood; sisters, Lydia Bell Channels and Barbara Prosperi; son-in-law Chris L Wills and great-granddaughter Ashlin Wills-Zigan.

She retired from Homer Laughlin China Company.

Delores is survived by her daughters, Penny Wills of Newark, OH. and Terrie Rice and her husband Bob of Toronto, OH.; brother, Gary Rood and his wife Judy of Wintersville, OH and special niece Jeanie Lancaster and daughter-in-law, Ronda Mays  She is also survived by her 11 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

Per Delores’ wishes, no services are planned and the Arner Funeral Chapel was entrusted with handling her arrangements.
