Delores J. Dick, 86 formerly of Smiths Ferry, PA., passed away at the Parkside Health Care Center in Columbiana on Friday, June 8, 2018, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 14, 1931, in East Liverpool to the late Walter and Eula Mae Kidder Perkins.
She was a retired inspector at Phoenix Glass in Monaca, and she was a member of the Smiths Ferry Methodist Church. She graduated from East Liverpool High School in 1950, and she was an avid sports fan of all of Pittsburgh’s teams. Also, she was a great lover of cats.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Curtis Dick on August 16, 1997, they had been married on January 20, 1951. Also preceding them in death was their son, Terry Lee Dick on December 12, 2008.
Survivors include her children, Linda Adkins of East Liverpool, and Robert A. (Nancy) Dick of Altamonte Springs, FL; four grandchildren, Marcus (Corey) Adkins of East Liverpool, Erik Adkins of Findley, OH., Robert A. (Kim) Dick Jr. of Commerce, GA., and Katherine Dick of Altamonte Springs; two great-grandchildren, Carissa Samples, and Ashleigh Dick of Commerce, GA; two great-granddaughters, Shelby & Adalee Samples, and one great-grandson due in August, Maverick.
Delores’s family is planning a memorial service for a later date. Her services have been entrusted to the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
