Debra Jean “Debbie” Alford, 64 of Chester passed away at her home on Thursday, October 18, 2018, from natural causes.
Born in East Liverpool on December 7, 1953, she was a daughter of the late Ernest R. Spurlock and Mary L. Bowen Burson.
A graduate of Oak Glen High School, Debbie had worked as a waitress at the East Liverpool Motor Lodge and earlier at Homer Laughlin China Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Corky Alford and two brothers, Roger and James Lee Spurlock.
She leaves her daughter, Gidget Spurlock Harmon of Eustis, FL; her brother, Algie Spurlock of Gloucester, VA; and three grandchildren, Danica N., Anthony J., and Connor J. Harmon.
Pastor Tom Schneidmiller will celebrate Debbie’s life on Thursday, October 25, at 7:30 p.m. at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 5:30 p.m. until the time of service at 7:30. Priv
