David A. Miller

David A. Miller, 59, of Weirton, passed away, Tuesday, December 11, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV., following a lengthy illness.

Born, July 20, 1959, in Washington, PA., he was a son on the late Robert and Edith Wade Miller.

David was a 1977 graduate of Burgettstown High School. He was a proud veteran of the United States Amy.

He was formerly employed as a security guard at Melon Bank in Pittsburgh and he later worked for the State of Pennsylvania’s Mental Institution as an aide.

Dave was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He played baseball and softball and had the opportunity to coach his son’s little league baseball team. Dave had a love for video games and you could often find him playing baseball and football.

He is survived at home by his loving wife, Amy Walter Miller; sons, Robert Miller and his wife Sheyanne of Burgettstown, PA., Joshua Miller and his wife Kym of Bridgeville, PA., Aaron Miller of Burgettstown, PA., Zachary Miller of Aliquippa; David Miller Jr. of Frederickstown, PA. and Caleb Miller of Fredericktown, PA.; brothers, Roger Miller of Washington, PA. and Richard Miller of Langeloth, PA.; he will also be missed by his granddaughters, Ivy, Ava and Piper Miller.

Family and friends will celebrate Dave’s life on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at the Arner Funeral Chapel, at 11:00 AM. Friends may visit the family at the funeral home on Friday, December 14, 2018, from 5:00PM-9:00 p.m.
