Clarence J. “John” McKinnon Jr., 52, a lifelong resident of East Liverpool, Ohio, passed peacefully, while in the loving care of his family, at his home on Thursday, May 30, 2019. He had been diagnosed with cancer years ago.
Born in East Liverpool, Ohio, on January 30, 1967, John was a son of the late Clarence J. McKinnon Sr. and Goldie (Gordon) McKinnon.
John had worked as a field supervisor for an industrial vacuum service before becoming ill, and he had attended East Liverpool High School.
John will be deeply missed by his family: his wife, Mary (Joy) McKinnon, who he married on April 17, 1988; his children, Courtney McKinnon, Shawn McKinnon and his wife, Rashauna, and Nicholas McKinnon, of East Liverpool. He also leaves one sister, Lee (Frank) Tittle, and his brothers, Dan (Honey Kay) McKinnon, and George Montgomery, of East Liverpool.
John’s cremation services are in the care of the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, and the family is in the process of planning a private memorial service for a later date.
