Charles D. “Chuck” Bolton Sr., 91 of Simmons St. in East Liverpool passed away peacefully at the Hospice House in Poland on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, following a very brief illness.
Born in Salineville on May 10, 1028, Chuck was a son of the late Charles E. and Della Hanley Bolton.
Chuck retired from Satralloy Steel in Mingo Junction and later worked sixteen years in customer service at the Calcutta Giant Eagle. He was a faithful member of the St. Clair Avenue Church of Christ and was a graduate of the Salineville High School.
Chuck was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Agnes Bolton and several grandchildren.
His loving family includes his children, Sharon (George Willis) Freeman of Newell, Michelle (Doug) Stevens of Newell, Jenny (Jim) Merriman of Chester, John Bolton of Newell, Lester (Phyllis) Hickman of East Liverpool, Chuck (Kathy) Bolton Jr. of Elkhart, IN., and Martin Bolton of Ohio. Several grand, great-grand, and great-great-grandchildren also survive.
Chuck’s pastor, Evangelist Will Montgomery will celebrate his life at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, August 3, at 5:00 p.m. His family will be present to receive friends Saturday afternoon from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.
