Bruce Rickerd Obituary
Bruce M. Rickerd, 81, of East Liverpool, passed away, Monday, September 23, 2019, at the Assisted Living Ministries, following a lengthy illness.
Born, April 28, 1938, in East Liverpool, he was a son of the late Alfred and Jeannette Stevens Rickerd.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ellen Rickerd and by his sisters, Terri Owens and Sally Beebout.
Bruce was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, where he was a member of the undefeated Potter’s 1955-1956 football team. Bruce later retired from Crucible Steel.
He is survived by his children, Bruce Rickerd and his wife Ruth of East Liverpool, Michael Rickerd of East Liverpool, Joy Norman of East Liverpool, Tammy Robb and her husband of Mike of Wellsville and Peggy Joe of Salem; Sisters, Dianne Horner, and Emily Rickerd both of East Liverpool. He will also, be missed by his 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 3, 2019, at 6:00 PM, at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.
