Bruce A. Blazer, 77, of Wellsville, passed away, Monday, December 2, 2019, at his home following a sudden illness.
A lifetime resident of East Liverpool and Wellsville, he was born, April 4, 1942, to the late Vern Blazer and Doris Manypenny Kozel.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Hoffmanns Blazer.
Bruce was a 1960 graduate of East Liverpool High School and he later retired from Western-Southern Life Insurance Company.
He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed watching his favorite sports teams the Cleveland Browns and Indians, Chicago Bears and Cubs.
Bruce will be deeply missed by his sons, Bruce Blazer Jr. of Newton Falls, OH, Joseph Blazer and his wife Angela of Salineville and Robert Blazer and his wife, Rhonda of Columbiana; stepchildren, Marianna Wright and her husband Dan of Wheeling, WV., Pamela Hoeffel and her husband Ed of Toledo, OH, and David Buchner and his wife Crystal of Wellsville; grandchildren, Dan, Bethany, Victoria, Joey, and Grant Blazer; step-grandchildren, Brittany Wright (Cody Hostutler), Amber Wright (Tony Bonner), Chelsey and Raquel Stillwell and 4 great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the American Legion Post #70 in Wellsville at 11 AM.
