Annie G. May

Annie G. May, 91, of Newell, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2018, at the East Liverpool City Hospital.

Born, February 24, 1927, in Newell WV., she is a daughter of the late Mike Gogal and Agnes Gogol Pifko.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hillman H. May; brothers, George and Mike Gogol and by her sister Olga O’kruta.

Annie was a graduate of Wells High School.

She is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

Annie formerly worked for TS & T Pottery in the Color Department and she worked as a receptionist for her son Dr. Hillman May, DDS.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Hillman H. May of Chester and by her daughter Barbara Cunningham of Newell; brother, John Pifko and his wife Mary of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Brian Cunningham, Kristy Krzys (Jeremy), Alexandra May, Natalie Ware (Shawn)and Hillary McManama (Matthew); great-grandchildren, Jace Cunningham, Kendall Krzys, Audrina May, Shawn, Paxton, Talon and Marybelle Ware.

Rev. Father Jeeson Stephan will preside over a mass of Christian Funeral on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at 10:00 am at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church, followed by interment at Locust Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, Friday, August 24, from 2:00 PM-4: 00 PM and 6:00 PM-8: 00 PM.
