The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected.

Our services include: conducting the arrangements conference; planning the funeral; consulting with family & clergy; shelter of remains; preparing & filing necessary notices; obtaining necessary authorizations & permits; coordinating with cemetery crematory & other third parties. In addition, this fee includes a proportionate share of our basic overhead costs. This fee for our basic services & overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials and forwarding & receiving remains.)

Except in special cases, embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements, such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that does not require you to pay for it, such as a Direct Cremation or an Immediate Burial.

This charge includes washing, dressing, cosmetics, hair care & casketing of the remains.

Within 25 miles. Beyond this radius we charge $1/mile.

This charge is for one afternoon & evening. Evening only would be $ 200.00

Our charge for an immediate burial (without ceremony) includes: basic services of funeral director & staff, a proportionate share of overhead costs, removal of remains and local transportation.

(Under 2 years of age) As a community service, the Arner Funeral Chapel, will provide a casket, services of funeral director & staff, transfer of remains to funeral home, other preparation, transportation to cemetery and a cemetery service at

Component Group Price List

The following component groups are for your convenience, additions and deletions can be made to customize the service to your needs.
All component groups contain the following: Local transfer of remains, embalming, services of funeral director & staff, use of facilities for period selected, register book, memorial folders, acknowledgment cards, all automotive equipment and local transportation to cemetery.

Please note that there are no state or federal laws that require you to purchase an outer burial container. However, some cemeteries require the use of one. If so, the reason(s) will be explained in writing on the statement of goods and services.

Other Caskets are available in all price ranges, please ask for information.

Alternative Services

“Lower cost alternatives to standard burial services”

The following alternative services include the following: local transfer of remains, embalming & other preparation, services of funeral director and staff, use of facilities for period selected, register book, memorial folders, acknowledgments cards, cloth covered casket and service vehicle to cemetery.

The Arner Funeral Chapel has made these options available to allow families a choice in their method of payment.

1. Assignment of adequately valued insurance policy.
2. Cash or approved check
3. Charge against approved Visa or MasterCard
4. If you wish to make payments, we can refer you to a local bank to make arrangements for a loan.
5. If you have limited ability to make payments, the total cost of services cannot exceed $2000 (two thousand dollars), one half of which is due before the visitation. All cash advances items, including but not limited to certified death certificates, clergy honoraria, paid obituaries, cemetery charges and flowers, are solely the responsibility of the person(s) making arrangements.
