Joan Coleman

Joan A. Coleman, 79, of Chester, passed, on Sunday, March 17, 2024, at East Liverpool City Hospital.

Born, on December 6, 1944, in East Liverpool, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Ruth Hall Buzzard.

Joan was also preceded in death by her grandsons, Daniel and Joshua Coleman, and great-grandson, Brandon Burchett.

She was of the Nazarene faith, growing up attending church at Chester First Church of the Nazarene. Joan enjoyed music, crocheting, and playing bingo.

She will be deeply missed by her loving husband, Roy Coleman, whom she married April 20, 1963; daughters, Rita Burchett (Kenneth) of Glenmoor, OH., Joanna Bowser (Timothy) of Salem, OH., Marianne Coleman of Wheeling, WV., Anita Mitchell (Kelley) of Salem, OH., Angela Kirkbride (John) of New Cumberland, WV., and Jamie Reed of Lisbon; son, Roy Coleman II (Brittany) of Warren; brother, Ronald David Buzzard (Sally) of Chester; 20 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pastor Dirk Hall will celebrate Joan’s life, on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 am, at Arner Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with her family on Friday, March 22, 2024, from 2-4:00 PM and 6-8:00 PM. Private interment will be at Riverview Cemetery.
