Zura M. Stone-Seacat 83, of Chester, passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017 in the Weirton Medical Center.  She was born June 14, 1934 in Berryville, VA.  She was a daughter of the late Oscar H. and Vista Racey Roberts.  Preceding her in death was her husband Duane Stone, sisters Wilma Savanick, Sharon Remsburg, and Leda Gerenscer.

Marlene is survived by her son Chad (Jeanne) Roberts of Chester, stepson James Stone of Wellsville, OH., stepdaughter Pamela(Alvin) Talkington of East Liverpool, brothers Larry Roberts of Chester, Darl (Martha) Roberts of Chester, sisters Marva Savanick of Punta Gorda, FL., Kenda (Matthew) Burnquist of Westerville, OH., Arla (John) Baxter of Huntersville, NC., former spouse Aubrey “Al” Seacat, grandchildren, Lisa Bish and Jason Roberts, Step-grandchildren Chris Shaw, Stephan and Ryan Talkingtion, Lauren Wright, Christopher Stone and 12 great-grandchildren.

Marlene was a graduate of South Union High School in Uniontown, PA., in 1952. She worked for National Church Supply for twenty-five years as a press operator and was a member of Trinity Parish Presbyterian Church in Chester.

Family and friends will gather for visitation Sunday from 1-5 PM at The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester.  Pastor Frank Lewis will celebrate Marlene’s life at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM.  She will be laid to rest in Shadow Lawn Cemetery.
