Thomas C. Wells of Chester passed away suddenly at his home on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
A son of the Donald and Florence Poling Wells, Tom was born in Wheeling on June 10, 1965.
He previously had worked at Metsch Refractories in Chester and been a groom at Mountaineer Race Track.
Tom was a 1983 graduate of Oak Glen High School. He loved family vacations to beach and games of chance. Tom was baseball and basketball fanatic and enjoyed watching his son Brad participating in all his sporting endeavors.
He leaves his wife and best friend, Diane Desmond Wells; his children, Bradley Thomas wells and his companion, Erin Mattern of Chester, Brad Stafford of East Liverpool, and Sandi Stafford and her fiancée Andrew Hissom of East Liverpool; his brother, David Wells of Grantville, PA; his sister, Terri (Pedro) Walker of Ocala, FL; his nieces and nephews whom he loved very much, Nicole, Josh, and Alex Wells and Carissa and Bethany Walker.
Tom’s life will be celebrated with a memorial service at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester on Saturday, April 14, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. Friends are invited to visit with the family one hour prior to the service.
