Rebekah J. "Jean" Jividen, 90, of East Liveroool died Monday, March 20, 2017.
Born March 14, 1927 in Newell, a daughter of the late Arza and Ruby Fluharty
Straight.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Leonard Jividen; sister, Mildred
Walters and son in-laws, Donald Matthews and John Newlun.
She was a 1944 graduate of Wells High School. Jean worked for Ohio Bell as a
telephone operator. She was a seamstress and a proud owner of Missy's Market.
Jean was a member of Northside Community Church and a member of the Heritage
Quilters and Chester Topps.
She leaves behind her sons, Bud Jividen of Dayton, OH., and Scott Jividen of
East Liverpool; Cathy Matthews of Canton, Debbie Perkins and her husband Robert
of East Liverpool, Pam Newlun of East Liverpool and Stephanie Smith and husband
Scott of Miamisburg, OH.; brother, Arza Straight of Loveland, Colorado.;
grandchildren, Jonathan And Jeff Newlun, Jennifer Savin, Steven and Timothy
Jividen, Danielle K. And Joshua A.Jividen, Kevin E. Perkins and James Talbot;
great grandchildren, Makayla Newlun, Makenzie McKinnon, Makyah Newlun, Eli John
Savin, Eliza Gama, Peytan Adkins, Isabella Newlun, Anthony M. Smith, Michael M.
Smith, Rosalyn A. and Jameson C. Talbot, Avery E. Silverburg, Jamie Newlun and Joey Newlun.
Pastor Larry Rose will celebrate Jean's life on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at
3:00pm at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester. Her family invites friends two
hours prior to the services; from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
