My dear cousin Skip,
You know we Grace's have a habit of being late but I hope you'll excuse my tardiness writing to you today as I didn't know this quest book existed.
I must confess I had wished for the traditional gathering that takes place when a loved one leaves this world but that was not your way.
I want to thank you for the talks we had...the one about my mother after she had past and your concern about me was very touching.
You had a funny way about you in a good way...I can see you in my minds eye your smiling eyes..those beautiful blue eyes and I can hear your laugh.
Though our talks to play catch--up were few and far between I value them and hold them dear. I'm sorry we never had that lunch we kept wanting to have for my visits home..
Good Lord willing , one day we'll feast at his table together. You are sadly missed.
