Paul H. Blake Sr. passed away at East Liverpool City Hospital on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 following a brief illness.
77 years old, Paul was born to the late Harold Edward and Mable Chambers Blake in Cameron, West Virginia on May 10, 1939.
When someone thinks of Paul, they will remember two things. His love of family and motorcycles, his family will forever cherish their memories of him riding his 1974 900 Kawasaki and their time spent together.
He was a retired maintenance supervisor at Insul Company Incorporated in East Palestine, and he attended the Chester First Church of the Nazarene.
Paul was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Chad Jablonski and Summer Dawn Blake; his brother, Robert Blake; his sisters, Beulah Pletcher and Geraldine Lee; and his daughter-in-law April Blake.
He leaves his loving wife of 59 years Margaret Mae Dunlap Blake who he married on May 29, 1957; his children, Cindy Jackson and her husband Richard of Chester, Teresa Minger and husband Ralph of Chester, Paul H. Blake Jr. of Chester, Tim Barnhart of Chester and Scott Alleman and wife Melissa of Marysville, Ohio; his sisters, Ellen Duty of Chester, Myrtle Cunningham of East Liverpool, and Violet Six of Chester; his grandchildren, Christopher Blake, Lisa Schmidt, Shane Blake, Derek Blake, and Tanner and Mandy Minger; and eight great grandchildren.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday from 12-2 & 4-8 pm at the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester where Pastor Steve Cummings will celebrate his life on Friday at 11:00 am.
