Jeffrey A. Rager, 58, of Steubenville, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, October 5, 2017.

Born, March 15, 1959, in Ohio, he was a son of Jo Ann Burch Rager of Caldwell, OH. and the late Ralph Rager.

Jeff was formerly employed at Impress Manufacturing in Weirton.

Preceding him in death was his sister, Diane Rager.

He is survived by his longtime companion Janet Taylor of Weirton; son, Jeffrey Rager and his wife Kristin of Washington, PA. and daughter, Shannon Flanner of Winston- Salem, NC; brother, Ralph Rager Jr. and his wife Terry, Wellsburg, WV.; sisters, Penny Augenstein and her husband Chuck of Caldwell, OH. and Brenda Anthony and her husband David of Bloomingdale, OH. Also, surviving are his grandchildren, Alyssa and Braden Rager and Liam Flanner.

In fulfilling Jeff’s wishes, no services are planned. Assistance is being provided by the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester, WV.
