James E. Keysor passed away unexpectedly at his home in Chester on Thursday, October 19, 2017. He had been grieving since suffering the loss of his beloved wife Eubajean on March 19, 2017, and he died from a broken heart.

He was born on October 17, 1947, in East Liverpool. 70 years old, Jim had spent his entire life in this area. He was a son of the late James E. Keysor and Mabel Hartenbaugh Dawson.

He retired as a supervisor from the Hancock County Sheltered Workshop in Weirton, and he was a veteran of the US Army. Following graduation from East Liverpool High School, Jim received a Bachelorette degree from Fairmont State College, a Master’s degree from Middle Tennessee State University, and he had taken several classes toward his Ph.D. degree.

Jim and Eubajean were the parents of two children, Jamey Keysor and his wife Robin of Winter Park, FL., and Beth Morris and her husband Sam of New Manchester. Three grandchildren, Nolan and Kade Keysor and Baylee Morris also survive along with Jim’s sister, Karen Keysor of Texas.

In fulfilling Jim’s wishes no services are planned, however, the family will be holding a private memorial service at their convenience. The Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester is assisting with these arrangements.
